Islamism is a century-old utopian political ideology that seeks to return to past glories by imposing medieval religious laws and usually involves building a caliphate, the universal Islamic state. Islamism derives from Islam but only a minority of Muslims support Islamism.
FWI holds that Islamism is the problem, moderate Islam is the solution.
